This morning when I started my car it was -4 degrees. My car made a noise that actually sounded like it was crying. It was a ridiculous -24 wind chill. Seriously, this is cold like I haven't experienced before. In Arkansas, as cold as it gets you can still be cute in the cold. Here, you must forego all efforts at cuteness to just keep your blood flowing.

Yesterday wasn't quite as cold and Natalie insisted on wearing her Razorback jogging suit. We have been waiting to grow into this for several months now, so it was a milestone that seemed worthy of capturing. I can't really capture us surviving the other big milestone - which is, of course, surviving this cold.
